What the plugin includes

• API credential configuration

  Store API key and partner/account ID in Odoo (encrypted fields). Optional credential validation handshake. Multi-company / multi-account support where needed.

• Bulk SMS sending

  Send to one contact or thousands, from CRM, leads, customers, sales, invoicing reminders, or custom lists. Message templates, queue and batch processing, optional delivery status tracking.

• Account balance visibility

  Real-time SMS credit balance in Odoo, dashboard widget, manual or auto-refresh, so ops never sends blind.

• Sender ID management

  Default sender ID (shortcode or alphanumeric), override per message or campaign, multiple IDs per account, format validation where required.

• Self top-up integration

  Link to your provider's secure top-up page from inside Odoo, pre-filled where the API allows, with optional logging of top-up attempts (webhook confirmation can be a phase-two enhancement).

• Security & audit

  HTTPS only, encrypted credentials, role-based access to send/configure, and audit logs for SMS activity.

Typical workflow

1. Install the custom module in Odoo
2. Configure API credentials and default sender ID
3. Check balance from the dashboard
4. Send SMS from CRM, contacts, or campaigns
5. Top up credits via the integrated link when units run low
